Happy 43th birthday to Iron Mike! My favorite boxer of all time, it seems like at least emotionally he's beginning to get his life back in order. With Fight Night Round 4 coming out soon, I can't wait to fuck some shit up with Mike.
I got home from the gym last night, and couldn't fall asleep until 3AM even though I knew I had class in only 6 hours. To make matters worse I tossed and turned all night, and woke up at 6AM and couldn't get back to sleep. The weird thing is that I wasn't the least bit tired, and I got way more done than I ever do on a normal morning. I watched some TV, did some blogging, made myself breakfast (2 big ass bowls of Fruity Pebbles), got fresh (see pictures above) and felt very ready for the day ahead of me.
I'm sitting here in the library right now trying to get my rough draft for my English paper done. It's no big deal because it's a 4 page paper and I only have 1 more page to go, and over 4 hours to get it done. Paper is coming along pretty good, but I like my mindstate better today as oppose to the day I wrote it because I have a clearer head. I got my Music Comprehension test back and I got a 70% which is totally unacceptable. Besides the fact that the teacher is a total douchebag and got a 1.9 out of 10 on RateMyProfessor, it's still no excuse for me to do below average. I'm Acing the next one.
Me and Boobie also came up with a CRAAAAZZZYYYY ass concept for a track on the mixtape. It's seriously unlike anything you've ever heard, and totally fits the vibe of the mixtape. When this track is done, there will be a lot of people getting a wake up call that Boobie is easily one of the best young artists out.
Well that's about all I got for now. About to get crackin on this rough draft, and see what else I can get done on this "day off" (8 hours of school + HW).

The Detroit Pistons have fired Michael Curry as coach, the team announced Tuesday.
"This was a difficult decision to make," Pistons president Joe Dumars said in a statement. "I want to thank Michael for his hard work and dedication to the organization. However, at this time, I have decided to make a change."
Curry was named coach on June 10, 2008 and was 39-43 this past season.
The Pistons were swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games.
Thank you Joe D. For awhile there a lot of your good decisions seemed to be behind you, as the last couple of years haven't ended nearly the way fans or the organization would have liked. Michael Curry never fit in the scheme of things, and he did a terrible job adjusting to life as an NBA coach. Horrible player management, almost non-existent play calls, and a team with absolutely no identity are all characteristics of his lackluster coaching experience. Pistons we can finally move on from this dark cloud that was upon us. I know it seems like I'm hating pretty hard, but I feel really strongly on this matter, and I honestly could go on and on about this.
This is off the upcoming Revival EP, Royce again comes through and does not disappoint. It's funny how back in the 10th grade when I first started listening to Royce, people would laugh at me and tell me I didn't know shit about music, and now more and more people are slowly hopping on the bandwagon. Nontheless song has a very unique hook, and the delivery is very in your face.

Finally Lupe comes out of the dark, and has actually had a nice string of new material come out. God, I can't wait for this album!
This is one of very few Jordans that I want, and do not already have in my collection. So to say that I was ecstatic when hearing the news of the Infared VI coming back out, would be an understatement. The VI's like no other Jordan grew on me so much over the course of me collecting sneakers. What used to be one of the more looked over models in the Air Jordan legacy, is now in my top 5, and this color is the grail of them all!

So about 2 hours ago I was working very hard on a argumentative paper for my English class...OK so I wasn't really working that hard and was actually really distracted the entire time. The reason I was so distracted is that my mind is filled with so many thoughts, more so than ever before. It's like I was sitting in my Music Comprehension class today just thinking of so much different shit. From thinking of a new concept for the Boobie Stoops - The Resume t-shirt, to how I could go about becoming a personal shopper while I took 16 credit hours, and a Kaplan course next semester, my mind was just wandering.
Honestly in the first time that I can remember I honestly can't predict what's in my future. Usually I have a firm grasp on pretty much everything. School is always a grind but my hardwork always pays off, work is work, and females are females. Now it seems like I have a new sense of urgency where I am trying to pack in as much shit into my life at once, and honestly I'm getting a little bit exhausted. It also doesn't help that it is past 2AM and I can't sleep. Summer classes are draining me right now. Sitting in 2 classrooms for 8 hours a day really takes its toll on you, especially when a lot of your friends are out enjoying the beautiful weather. Summer classes starting back up has left me even less time to enjoy female companionship. Now when I spend time with a girl, I try to narrow my list significantly to girls whose company I truly enjoy since time is of the essence.
I've spent right around $1500+ on sneakers in the last 3 months, and God knows how much on clothing. I currently have a walk in closet being built in my basement because my room can no longer hold all this stuff. I am a compulsive shopper, and I am going to make significant effort to make cutbacks in order to save more money. I am officially grounding myself from any type of sneaker and/or Louis Vuitton/Gucci products for 3 months. Ahhh I can already feel the withdrawls.
On a brighter note, I just got rid of the worst sickness I have ever had this past week and am getting back to full health. Boobie Stoops - The Resume is the upcoming mixtape. You've heard a couple tracks that I've leaked on the blog. I'm telling you that this mixtape will be a Hip Hop classic. Boobie is in LA right now working like crazy to get this out sometime in July.

I really can't believe Master P not only did this song for the Southpark album, but actually made a video for it too! I remember this joint actually had a short lived run on TRL. Too funny, and brings back some memories of 5th grade for me.
I'm going to be completely honest here. For those who know me already know, I am a huge fan of Louis Vuitton and Kanye West both. So it would make perfect sense that I would be going nuts about these shoes coming out, but I couldn't be any more opposite. Don't get me wrong, I definitely do not think the shoes are ugly by any means. The shoe is nice and I will give just do. But when I thought about it, if these shoes were not related to Kanye or LV and I seen someone at the mall rockin them, I would not give them a second glance. To me they look like some high class Pumas, or even worse some colorways look like some Pastry's! I went crazy over the Yeezys because it was such a innovative design, and reasonable price point (to a sneakerhead) of $300. But to pay $800-1300 for some nice quality Pumas/Pastrys I'll PASS!!! Sorry Ray haha.

It seems like for some reason out of all the shoes that Jordan Brand has decided to whore out in the past, the VIs somehow have stayed clear of the pimp. In the last 5 years we have only had 3 pairs of VIs released (even though I don't even wanna count that ugly ass "Olympic") and only one of them was an OG color (Carmines). These slated for 2010 are basically a Carmine with black instead of red. I'm not gonna overhype this shoe especially because of such an uninspired colorway, but it is a VI so it will be copped.
