This cover manages to combine the overdone bling factor present in many rap album covers with the "What the fuck?" aspect as well. This is how this album managed to make it to number one. There are so many things that are absurd on this cover that I cannot quite comprehend all of it. He has four bears smoking blunts and wearing jewelry while drinking cristal in front of a table filled with cigars, strawberries, assorted nuts, and fresh fish. Oh, and his name is in HONEY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Just in case you thought he was going light on the bear theme. The name of the album is baffling. "Doin Thangs" is such a broad description. What is he doing? THANGS. No time for apostrophes, Big Bear is on the move. I'm just relieved that he didn't forget to put a high number of lens flares onto the cover. Without it he might have lost the hook necessary to alert people that he is, in fact, doin thangs.

Drake got it started by ripping this beat. Big Sean followed by killing it on Uknowbigsean Vol. 2, but relatively unknown Detroit rapper Boobie Stoops picks up where the other 2 left off. Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to be at the Pepsi Center in Denver next Monday night.

Problem is, so are John Cena and a bunch of wrestlers -- and they called it first.

World Wrestling Entertainment said it is booked at the arena for an episode of Monday Night Raw, the same night the Nuggets are slated to host the Lakers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.

WWE chairman Vince McMahon told The Associated Press he doesn't believe there was "any malice, just ineptness," on the part of Kroenke Sports, which owns the team and the building, but can't tolerate the company "just simply throwing us out on our ear."

Without a quick resolution, McMahon plans to send his trucks to Denver.

"That's what we intend to do," he said. "We're going to show up."

Pepsi Center officials told the ABC television affiliate in Denver that the Nuggets game will be played as scheduled and that they are working with the WWE to reschedule or move its event.

WWE spokesman Robert Zimmerman said the organization secured the Pepsi Center last Aug. 15 and has already sold more than 10,000 tickets for the event. He says the organization expects a sellout, with tickets ranging from $20 to $70.

McMahon blamed Kroenke for not believing his team was good enough to still be playing in mid-May.

"The fans in Denver had a lot more faith in making the playoffs than the owner," he said in a phone interview from Louisville, where Raw was taking place later Monday night.

Denver is usually done with basketball by now. The Nuggets had lost in the first round five straight years, but as the No. 2 seed in the West are in the conference finals for the first time since 1985.

The Nuggets referred comment to the NBA, which handles scheduling during the playoffs. Kroenke Sports also had no comment.

However, the league is leaving it up to the team and the WWE to figure things out.

"The Nuggets and the WWE understand that the date of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals cannot be changed," NBA senior vice president Mike Bass said. "We are confident that the Pepsi Center and the WWE will resolve their scheduling conflict."

Zimmerman said the Pepsi Center confirmed in March with the WWE that the organization wanted to keep the May 25 date, and sent a contract on April 15 -- the final night of the regular season -- which WWE signed and returned. Tickets went on sale April 11.

The conflict didn't arise until Sunday, when the Lakers beat the Houston Rockets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. Had the Rockets won, Denver would have had home-court advantage in the next round, hosting Games 1 and 2 and putting the May 25 game in Houston.

As of Monday afternoon, the schedule on the Pepsi Center's Web site listed WWE for 6:30 p.m. local time and Western Conference finals Game 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the wrestling event could still be purchased online.

McMahon said he couldn't guess how much he would make from the show, but that canceling wasn't easy because of how much is involved in moving his equipment, plus filling its obligated time slot on USA Network. Litigation is likely -- but he plans to be putting on a card.

"When you do have a date, you plan everything around it," he said, adding, "we may be holding an event in a parking lot somewhere."

A man was injured following a shooting after a Drake concert at House of Blues Chicago early Saturday (May 16) morning. Reports indicated that a 21-year-old male was shot in the buttocks at approximately 4:00 AM, during which time over 1,000 fans were making their way out of the venue. Witnesses at the show said Drake got on stage at around 3:00 AM and performed a 45-minute set, when multiple fights broke out in the club. At that point, the concert-goers were ordered to leave the venue. Following this, an altercation outside of the venue lead to a shooting. The victim was treated for the wound at Northwestern Hospital, while the gunman remains unknown. Drake canceled an after-party appearance as a result of the violence.Detectives are currently investigating, and no one was in custody as of Saturday evening.

Damn who would of thought Drake performing in Detroit less than a week earlier would go over smooth with no violence. Well I'm glad nothing went down when I was there...Check out video of the altercation.

Retired boxer Mike Tyson has given Oscar winner Jamie Foxx the Ok to play him in a planned biopic after warming to the actor/comedian's famous impersonation.

Tyson admits he was very angry with Foxx the first time he saw the Ray star poking fun at him on U.S. TV show In Living Color - but the two men have recently met and now the sports star feels the actor is the best man to portray him in a film.

And Tyson insists he's grown up a lot since the days he went hunting for Foxx to let him know exactly what he thought of the funnyman's impression.

The Lakers cruised past the Rockets 89-70 and into the West finals against the Nuggets. Gasol scored 21 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. The Lakers looked like the conference’s top-seeded team, not the inconsistent one that was pushed to the limit by the Yao, and T-Macless Rockets who I gained a lot of respect for. A parent's worst nightmare came true when a teacher of Miami's Head Start program was arrested for allegedly kicking a 5-year-old girl in the mouth when she was lying on her cot during nap time.

According to The Miami Herald, Jean E. Dorvil, 56, a preschool teacher at Charles R. Drew Elementary School in Miami was charged with aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm, three charges of battery and two charges of child abuse with no harm.

The recent incident is apparently not the first occasion in which Dorvil has physically harmed a child in his care. Upon investigation, school police found that a co-worker knew of two boys who had been kicked by Dorvil within the school year, but neglected to report the incidents as state law requires.

The episode that launched the investigation occurred on April 16. Mikel Blue, a 5-year-old preschooler, told authorities that she went to the restroom during nap time without permission, when she returned, Dorvil kicked her in the mouth as she rested on her cot.

Mikel's mother, Cynthia Blue, said that her daughter returned home from school that day with blood on her blouse and a busted lip.

''It stunned me,'' Cynthia Blue said. ''Her lip was cut on the outside, and it was bleeding.'' Blue said when she asked her daughter what happened she replied, ''he got mad at me because I went to the bathroom.''

Sergeant Ivan Silva of Miami-Dade Schools Police confirmed that a Head Start staffer told detectives that two other students complained that Dorvil kicked them earlier this year. The employee failed to report the allegations once details of the abuse surfaced. Florida law states that any suspicions of child abuse or neglect are to be reported through the abuse hot line.

After the two boys who were kicked -both 5-years-old- and their parents were interviewed by detectives, Dorvil "admitted to those incidents, and that's why he was charged," Silva said.

Child welfare administrators said Tuesday that after reviewing Dorvil's 10 year tenure at the school, there may be a possibility that he has a history of abusing children that dates back several years.

In 2002, Dorvil was reprimanded for not reporting that a child had been hurt under his supervision. The January 2002 report says: ''The child hurt his mouth and was bleeding. You assessed the accident to be minor even when the child clearly had blood from his mouth."

''You did not obtain the assistance of the nurse who is on site; you did not try to contact the parent, you did not inform me (your supervisor)'' the report adds. "I hope you understand the gravity of the occurrence and the consequences of your negligence.''

Dorvil has been suspended from his teaching position in the Head Start program, and administrators are working to gather additional information to determine whether other children have been abused in his care.

So far, Dorvil faces four felony charges and is in jail without bond.

What a fuckin idiot? I just don't get at 56 years of age how you can logically think that kicking a 5 year old in the mouth is the right thing to do. This is probably very traumatic for the children he’s abused. Looking towards legendary Rock band KISS once again, Vans works up a new collection for Fall 2009. So...I just went through a couple of situations this past week that made me REALLY think about why I'm single. I aint gonna get too much into some of them but they range from conversations with my boys to certain female's reactions to things I've said to them.

I'm often hit with this question: "OK, you're doing a lot with your life, your attractive, you're funny. Why are you still single?".....

-I cant/won't lie to a female just for some ass. I was talking with my boys and one of my boys was talking about how he tells chicks anything that they wanna hear just so he could have sex with them. I told him I dont do that because 1.) said chick wont respect you when it's revealed you're a liar and 2.) I can't tell a chick I "love" her. I havent said that word to a female in like 5 years.....

-I have my well documented commitment issues. Im not gonna get into it because most of you guys are prolly familiar, but I suck at commitment and relationships. My longest relationship was about 8 months. I just have the trait of needed constant excitement and thrills and stimulation in all aspects of my life. I also hate being in one place for too long. :-/

I've had girls tell me that before they ever talked to me, that I didn't seem approachable, and I had too much of an arrogance about me. I recently had a very attractive girl tell me that when she first checked me out that I was "intimidating in a good way" because I seemed like I had my shit together real good. But as soon as they start talking to me they realize that I am just a confident person who really tries to be the best at whatever he is doing. If I'm dressin up I wanna be the freshest dude there, if I am starting a blog I want it to be the freshest blog out there, and if I want a girl I want her to be the freshest girl out there.

All in all, I just want to be understood. Getting a jacket like this, you gotta make sure it fits just right. People make the mistake of buying varsity jackets too big sometimes and when that happens it really takes away from the overall look of the jacket. I like this particular jacket very much. It's has some nice color splashing, and the logos aren't gaudy or over the top.
